Troubleshooting Samsung Galaxy S8 that is not charging
As the owner, you should take a while to troubleshoot your telephone to know whether the problem is just a minor glitch in the hardware or system or if it really needs to be replaced. Step 1: Be sure you’re using the first charger and USB cable

In which case, try to plug the phone and do then press and hold the Volume Down and electricity keys for 7 seconds to find out if the phone boots up.

Step 3: Twist in safe mode and attempt charging

Measure 3: Power down your apparatus and charge
Let’s presume the phone still has enough battery to power its parts but will not charge, the next thing you need to do is turn it off and see if it charges that manner because if so, you truly have to reset it to repair the problem.
However, when the charging icon doesn’t show on the display and the LED indicator isn’t lighting up, then it’s not charging even if it’s turned off. Now, it has verified that the phone is afflicted by a hardware problem and for a brand-new phone, there’s no use in continuing your Tracking since it should not be doing so in the first place.
Send or deliver the phone back to the shop and request a replacement. If you are still within the grace period, you may get a brand new unit as replacement.
Measure 4: Change your telephone before returning if possible

- Tap Google.
- Tap in your Google ID email address if multiple accounts are setup. In case you have multiple accounts setup, you will need to repeat these steps for each account.
- Harness 3 dot icon.
- Tap Remove account.
- Tap REMOVE ACCOUNT.
- And this is how you reset your telephone…
Switch off the device.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key.
- When the Android logo displays, release all keys (‘Installing system update’ will reveal for about 30 — 60 minutes prior to showing the Android system retrieval menu choices ).
- Press the Volume down key a few times to emphasize”wipe info / factory reset.
Press Power button to pick.
- Press Power button to pick and begin the master reset.
- When the master reset is finished,”reboot system currently” is emphasized.
